Two days (or nights rather) ago he sat up by himself for the first time and has been doing it like it's nothing since.
Today he used the sides of his Pack 'N' Play to pull himself into a stand and just stayed there, looking out at the backyard through the sliding glass door. I saw what he was up to this time though, and took plenty of pictures.
Tonight we took the initiative and moved his crib down. As Thomas noted, it makes him look even more like he's in jail....but at least we'll know he's nowhere near flipping over the rails.
(Btw, I updated his BabyList with a a bunch of little things, if anyone's looking to get anything for him. We already got him a few things and it's killing us to wait until Christmas to give it to him.)
This is what a baby enjoying his first Thanksgiving turkey (a heritage turkey at that, thanks to his Uncle Chaise) looks like.
Katie and I turned around and there is was...just a sitting away.
The next morning (a.k.a. yesterday)
He started out inspecting the far side of the thing.
Then he moved to the side he could reach.
Oh, what is that? A railing so close?
I wonder if I can...
...phwew, mesh break...
So close.
one
two
three!
Success!
All tuckered out afterwards.
Now in his MUCH lowered crib, where he's currently snoozing away.
Last, but not least, Adam wishes his canine friend Max well and hopes she get's better quickly!
Night everyone!
