9 Months and 3 Weeks Guys!
Hey Everyone!
Sorry if this a short post, but my mom's in town (yay!) and so I was over there most of the night (until, of course, budsy needed to come home and go to sleep, which he just did). This week has literally gone by in a flash...a flash of trying to clean and watching Adam as he refuses to do much else besides stand or crawl towards the stuff he's not supposed to (we need to have a weekend lock down or something to make sure everything is clean and ready for him to start walking--and then running---around). Anyway, here's the few pictures I snapped this week!
Oh man, I also almost forgot that we went to the doctor this last Friday. Everything's good to go, except one thing that y'all might not want to read about (but feel free to ask) that is. He's 28 inches and some change, as well as just over 22 pounds!

He liked Daddy's chopsticks.
Daddy and he passed out while we decorated the tree.
Asleep in Meme's arms.
I think these two speak for themselves.
Oh! I almost forgot! This is from Thanksgiving morning and, since it's on my computer and not my phone, I keep forgetting to post it.

Okay, whoops. When I copied the link to Adam's babylist for the last one, it apparently didn't take and took people to a picture of Emma Watson (Thanks Aunt Dolly!) So, to anyone who still needs it, I fixed the link down below and here's the link here just in case.

(The Walking) It's Coming
Last weekend Adam used his walker to pull himself into a standing position and promptly fell back down (it has wheels and when I moved towards him to stand behind him and keep him steady, I think it spooked him).
Two days (or nights rather) ago he sat up by himself for the first time and has been doing it like it's nothing since.
Today he used the sides of his Pack 'N' Play to pull himself into a stand and just stayed there, looking out at the backyard through the sliding glass door. I saw what he was up to this time though, and took plenty of pictures.
Tonight we took the initiative and moved his crib down. As Thomas noted, it makes him look even more like he's in jail....but at least we'll know he's nowhere near flipping over the rails.
(Btw, I updated his BabyList with a a bunch of little things, if anyone's looking to get anything for him. We already got him a few things and it's killing us to wait until Christmas to give it to him.)

This is what a baby enjoying his first Thanksgiving turkey (a heritage turkey at that, thanks to his Uncle Chaise) looks like.
Katie and I turned around and there is was...just a sitting away.
The next morning (a.k.a. yesterday)
He started out inspecting the far side of the thing.
Then he moved to the side he could reach.
Oh, what is that? A railing so close?
I wonder if I can...
...phwew, mesh break...
So close.
one
two
three!
Success!
All tuckered out afterwards.
Now in his MUCH lowered crib, where he's currently snoozing away.
Last, but not least, Adam wishes his canine friend Max well and hopes she get's better quickly!
Night everyone!

9 months is just around the corner!
Hey Everyone,
This past week has held a lot of firsts for Adam (or at least firsts with us because I know he's done a few of these things with his Mimi already :)): his first times sitting as a big boy in a restaurant high chair
This past week has held a lot of firsts for Adam (or at least firsts with us because I know he's done a few of these things with his Mimi already :)): his first times sitting as a big boy in a restaurant high chair
his first time sitting up in a shopping cart unassisted,
his first time with finger foods,
(pictured are peaches and Greek yogurt, both of which he ignored for the sweet potato puffs I tried to hide in there....he very methodically picked them out of the rest; he must not be a fan of mess)
and his first time (since he was less than a month old) spewing out pretty much everything in his stomach....don't worry there are no pictures of that one. That was last night and I'm thinking he must have just eaten too much on account of his teething and his possible switching to wanting only three meals a day instead of four. We called the doctor and they said that since he didn't have a fever and since he didn't do it again, he should be okay. He did have a little diaper episode today since he ate only formula (and thinner formula at that) in an attempt to make sure his stomach was okay, but I'll save you the messy details. He's been passed out since pretty early tonight, so hopefully he'll have recuperated by tomorrow.
And here goes the rest of the pictures.
He and daddy at Little Tokyo after he got too tired to sit up in the high chair anymore.
He wanted to play with my phone, so I turned the camera on him.
This was after he finally fell asleep last night. He looked so perfect I just had to take a picture...it's now my new background on my phone :).
I hope everyone is healthy and safe. Don't forget, if you want to email Adam so he can have something (or several somethings) from you when he's older, leave a comment and I'll make sure to get you his email address.

Like Father, Like Son
This week was pretty tame, so much so that it practically flew by. Besides the election and celebrating Jeremy's birthday, I've pretty much been doing the same old same old, along with Adam. We did have a lot of good family time over the weekend though, including an outing to Old Navy, where we finally found Adam a hat that matches Thomas'. They ended up matching shirt wise too that day, so I warn you, the pictures are pretty adorable from that day.
