Good News Everyone...

...I'm now going to updating this regularly each Thursday. I cleared up a few other things I was doing, so now we're good.

Little man is doing great: still working on his crawling and yammering about. As Thomas posted, he and I went to the Unchained Tour and got Adam his first autographed book. Hopefully, once he gets old enough and learns to love reading (fingers crossed), he'll think that's pretty awesome.

It's late and we had a bit of a whirlwind night, so I can't really think of anything else new, but I'll make sure to tell you more next week (or possibly before).

Wow. I just realized these are all sleeping pictures.  Well, now onto the videos!

The Case of the Watery Eye

As Melanie reminded me yesterday, I forgot to fill everyone in on the eye troubles Thomas so ambiguously hinted at in his last post. (Also, I just edited my last post to say Adam was 18 lbs. An 8 lb baby his length would be crazy skinny!)

This past Sunday, little man woke up screaming twice. His eye looked a little red and watery then, but we thought it might just be night terrors (hopefully brought on by a developmental leap) and that he'd just slept on that side of the face wrong. By the afternoon though, it was obvious that his eye was still somewhat bothering him, so we took him to one of those 24-hour stand alone facilities (our pediatrician closes at 11 am on Sundays). They told us he MIGHT have an infection and prescribed an ointment for his eye. They were out of the ointment at Rite-Aid, so we had to get the drops (which were hell until we stopped trying to hold him in place), but either way, it seems to have helped. His eyes have pretty much been clear since that first day; we're just continuing for the next few days as a precaution (and to follow the doctor's orders of course).

Otherwise, he's healthy, happy, and darn-near close to crawling. He drags and pushes himself all over the place.
