Halloween is almost upon us...

...and yes, I know it's still the rest of the month away. But, why not have some fun until then?

Okay, now back to normal pictures.

And finally, he was acting like a forlorn prisoner.

Oh, by the way, he has graduated from the little sink tub and now has one that inflates inside of an adult tub. He loves it and is finally starting to get the hang of splashing around in the water...of course he does need to learn he can't lunch after the rubber duck if it's too far from him...that's never a good idea.

And last but not least, I finally found an outfit for his Halloween costume. He's going to be a little Doctor (Who)!
It's a bad picture, but I'll definitely have them washed and on him by Halloween...so you'll get pictures of that then...Also, expect this outfit over the holidays (but with only one vest at a time). It's the most dressed up thing he has :).

Night everyone! We love you all!

Good News Everyone...

...I'm now going to updating this regularly each Thursday. I cleared up a few other things I was doing, so now we're good.

Little man is doing great: still working on his crawling and yammering about. As Thomas posted, he and I went to the Unchained Tour and got Adam his first autographed book. Hopefully, once he gets old enough and learns to love reading (fingers crossed), he'll think that's pretty awesome.

It's late and we had a bit of a whirlwind night, so I can't really think of anything else new, but I'll make sure to tell you more next week (or possibly before).

Wow. I just realized these are all sleeping pictures.  Well, now onto the videos!

The Case of the Watery Eye

As Melanie reminded me yesterday, I forgot to fill everyone in on the eye troubles Thomas so ambiguously hinted at in his last post. (Also, I just edited my last post to say Adam was 18 lbs. An 8 lb baby his length would be crazy skinny!)

This past Sunday, little man woke up screaming twice. His eye looked a little red and watery then, but we thought it might just be night terrors (hopefully brought on by a developmental leap) and that he'd just slept on that side of the face wrong. By the afternoon though, it was obvious that his eye was still somewhat bothering him, so we took him to one of those 24-hour stand alone facilities (our pediatrician closes at 11 am on Sundays). They told us he MIGHT have an infection and prescribed an ointment for his eye. They were out of the ointment at Rite-Aid, so we had to get the drops (which were hell until we stopped trying to hold him in place), but either way, it seems to have helped. His eyes have pretty much been clear since that first day; we're just continuing for the next few days as a precaution (and to follow the doctor's orders of course).

Otherwise, he's healthy, happy, and darn-near close to crawling. He drags and pushes himself all over the place.

Quick Update

This is almost a week late and I'm in a rush, but just so you all know:

1) Adam now has two teeth poking through (the two bottom, front teeth).
2) He's 18 lbs 1 oz (though probably not anymore).
3) He's already almost half my height at 27 and 1/4 inches.

Adam's First Half Birthday!

Adam has a tooth! We just noticed it and gave him a late-night tooth brushing!

Okay, now we're back to our regularly scheduled program. Today was our little guy's 6-month birthday. He didn't get anything, and I'm sure he wouldn't call eating prunes for lunch a celebration by any means, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a special day. Also, as I mentioned before, HE HAS A TOOTH!

He's growing so much and feels like he weighs a ton (not literally...obviously). We're not sure of his measurements, because he hasn't been to the doctor in at least a month and won't go until, I think, the end of this week, but yeah...I'll update y'all when I get those.

What's new? Well, not too much. I know it's been a month, but he's just mainly working on his same skills, rolling, scooting, grasping, and standing. One cool thing, he's getting better and better at grabbing his pacifier (or teething rings) and putting them in his mouth on his own. Also, he's a lot more alert and actually obviously does things with purpose now. It's crazy.

Okay, okay, enough of me. Here's some pictures and a cute little video of him with his glowworm
