13 Weeks
Hey everyone! Today will be mostly a photo update (mostly because I took so many trying to get a facebook profile picture with him smiling), but just to fill y'all in:
1) He got his second set of shots. He's not the happiest of campers, but he's doing MUCH better than last time.
&
2)He's 24 1/2 inches and 13 lbs. 13 oz. now!

Almost 3-months!
Hey Everyone,
Not too much to update you on this time, though we are only a few days away from Adam being 3-months-old. He's doing great. We got him a tummy time mat with a pillow to prop him up and some trinkets to play with. I don't have a picture of that, but I'll try to get one soon. He's also learning to grip and loves shaking his rattles (we had to get some thinner ones for him for until he can grasp the thicker, plush ones). His hand-eye coordination is getting better, but it still has a ways to go. He's always trying to chew on his rattle or the teething beads we got him yesterday (I think he might be getting a tooth in up top...possibly), but they end up just getting smashed up against his face in general. He'll get there though. I just put him down for a nap in his swing (I'm downstairs and the pack and play is still a tad bit wet from his peeing all over it before his bath)...so that's the first picture down there (thanks to Alicia for the knit hat :)).

| Katie won a hat at Toys R Us and tied the back of it so that it'd fit him. |
| It's a bad picture, but this was him watching Dr. Who with me the other night at the Pearsons'. |

9 Weeks
Hey Everyone!
So, today, the little guy is 9-weeks-old. My, how the time flies. Right now he's curled up under a blanket, taking one of his midday naps, which reminds me, yes, he now sleeps somewhat through the night (hallelujah). Right after he turned 2 months, he immediately started sleeping 6-8 hours at a time. Now, Thomas and I just have to start going to bed closer to him, so that we can optimize that time. He's a great little baby though. He'll usually curl up in the morning for a few more hours, until Mommy has gotten "enough" sleep.
He loves "talking" with us, eating his hands, being read to at night, getting a bath (most of the time), watching his mobile, being rocked in his swing, and even sitting back and watching a movie with Daddy.
This last Friday, though, definitely does not belong on this list. He had his dreaded 2 month exam...dreaded merely because he had to get his first round of vaccines. We were thrilled to finally know his measurements though (he's 12 lbs. 2 oz. and 23.5 inches!). All in all, he did well at the appointment. He took the oral vaccine nicely and when he was pricked in both legs for the other two, he did turn bright red and cry at first, but he quickly calmed down. The worst part came about four hours later, when he woke up from his nap and realized his was sore/bruised where he got shot. He was pretty miserable there for a few hours (even after taking the prescribed dosage of children's Tylenol) and cried a few times, as Thomas says, like he hasn't cried since the day he was born. Once we put him down for bed though, he seemed a lot better. He was a little sore when we changed his diapers, since it applied pressure on his legs, and was a tad irritable for the next day and night, but he's back to normal now--just smiling and cooing at everyone around him.

To end the post here's two video's of little Adam in his swing. I took the first one and then he started making sounds, so I tried to capture them on another one and only got a yawn and like two coos...Sorry again for them being sideways!

7 weeks already?
Hey everyone!
So, what's new? Well, as of yesterday, mister Adam is now seven-weeks-old. It's been over a month since his last doctor's appointment and his next one isn't until next week, so we don't know exactly how much he's grown, but I'll tell you, he's definitely starting to get a tad bit heavy and I'm in the middle of packing up all of his newborn clothes for his future sibling(s).
For anyone who saw him in his first few weeks, when all he did was sleep, he's a lot more awake and aware now. He's started to smile socially; bat at objects on mobiles; pull himself up by my fingers; track objects like a pro; and learn that changing his diaper is a good thing as opposed to an attack of cold air and whatnot.
One of the most common questions I've been getting lately is, "is he sleeping through the night?" To answer that for all of y'all, he's gotten to where he will sleep 4 or 5 hours between feedings, so he is only waking up once or twice a night now (depending on when we go to bed). He's also eating a lot faster, so all in all, that has been getting better. We're hoping that we'll get another month out of his bassinet before we have to move him to his crib in the next room, but we'll just have to wait and see. He's definitely filling the space up now.
Okay, it's picture time!
Until next time! Cheers!

Adam's first time in his crib (video style)
This was taken with my phone, so I'm sorry it's tilted. I didn't realize it'd do that until it was already done.
p.s. He's 6 weeks old already!
